Local businesses are doing their best to remain open, providing essential home goods and services while following safety measures for both employees and customers. Here is a list of companies still operating — in some capacity — and those that are temporarily closed. Due to the rapid, evolving nature of this pandemic, hours of operation and availability are subject to change. HARDWARE AND BUILDING SUPPLY STORES

City Mill
Open with modified store hours: Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can order over the phone or online, with curbside pickup. There are reserved parking stalls for online orders. Visit citymill.com.

HPM Building Supply

HPM Building Supply stores are fully operational, with protective measures to minimize risk to employees and customers.

FURNITURE, ACCESSORIES AND APPLIANCES

Geobunga
Open with modified store hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The company has implemented a policy to protect employees and customers. Pacific Home

Servco Home and Appliance Distribution

Simply Organized
Now open with buy online and pickup in store. Pickup is available Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The website will feature select merchandise, so customers are encouraged to call the store for requests and to learn about new products. For freedomRail purchases and installation, customers can work with a design team virtually by calling 739-7007 and pick it up at the store or at City Mill’s Nimitz location.

American Carpet One

Carrier Hawaii

Cosco Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
Open with modified store hours for all branches until further notice: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. The company asks for customers to call about any pickup/will call orders before visiting the store. Visit coscohawaii.com.
Daltile
The showroom is closed. Business hours are modified to Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. To pick up previously placed orders, call ahead and your order will be brought out to the loading dock. The company is also offering “tile takeout” in which you can schedule pickup, stay in your car and have your order delivered to you curbside. You can also call to place an order. Hawaii Gas
Offices are closed for in-person payments, but you can use the drop box for checks only; otherwise, customers can mail their payments or use the online option through the company’s website. Gas deliveries are still ongoing. Visit the company’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates page on its website.
Island Shutters
Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Island Shutters is offering video consultations to minimize exposure for customers interested in their products and existing customers to stay on schedule. Call 690-8182 to schedule, or visit the website.
Kapili Roofing & Painting

The innovation center is closed at this time. You can still call and visit the website.
Pacific American Lumber
Open for “takeout and delivery.” Business hours are modified to Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The company is accepting phone orders and you can check out the tent setup outside to see samples. All showrooms are open by appointment only. Please call to schedule. The sales staff are fully operational, working remotely. You can reach out to them via phone or email. All operations staff are functioning at each location. Shipping, receiving and delivery are as normal.

The Glass Guru of Honolulu
Open for business — taking calls and orders, scheduling estimates and completing installation as usual, but with health and safety precautions. The showroom is closed to the public. BANKING
HawaiiUSA FCU
All branches have adjusted hours of operation. Safe deposit box access, notary and medallion signature guarantees are by appointment only at select branches. Visit the bank’s website update page for details.
First Hawaiian Bank
Several bank locations have temporarily closed — and the first hour of service is dedicated to seniors and high-risk individuals. ATMs, access to safe deposit boxes and night deposit are still available at all locations. For up-to-date information, check out fhb.com/covid19.
American Savings Bank
Select branches have temporary modified hours while others have closed. ATMs and online banking are open 24/7. At all open branches, the first hour of each day, Monday to Friday, is “Kupuna Hour” — only seniors and at-risk individuals, along with a caregiver or family member, can enter. BIA-Hawaii
