With so many options available for materials and colors, industry leader Kevin Nip of Selective Stone offers advice for homeowners, starting with budget and aesthetic. Different materials have different costs, but a similar look can be achieved, he explains. For example, porcelain tile is available in patterns of natural stone, like marble, but for a lower cost. The depth and character, however, cannot be replicated, so an investment in natural stone should increase the value of a home. Natural Stone
