Strong Roots

Rinell Wood Systems, Inc. is a locally-owned, kamaaina small business. Established in 1979 as a ‘drop-ship’ supplier of forest products, RWS changed its model over time to become one of the largest Simpson Strong-Tie dealers in the state. In addition to an extensive inventory of hardware and fasteners, Rinell Wood Systems also sells specialty architectural products such as Longboard Aluminum, LJ Smith Stairs, and AZEK decks and railings.

Owner Audrey Crimmins (daughter of founder Dave Rinell) and her children, Jessica and Jason, follow the company credo of providing quality materials backed with in-depth product knowledge.  This, along with a ‘customer first’ approach, has kept RWS a valued member of Hawaii’s building industry for almost 40 years.
