Buzz, Saw is a weekly blog on cool stuff we’re seeing and buzzing about.

1. Golden greetings.

Say “hello” to this golden, neon-light inspired wall decor by Umbra. Available for $18 at Simply Organized.

2. Red Knot Kapolei celebrates first birthday.

Happy first birthday to Red Knot’s Kapolei location! Celebrate by heading over to any Red Knot location — Kapolei, Pearlridge or in town at South Beretania Street — to enjoy 10 percent off items storewide through Oct. 8.

3. Wright on.
One photographer makes it his mission to photograph every project designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright (yes, all 532 of them). Enjoy this compilation of photographs Andrew Pielage has taken so far, from the famous Fallingwater home in Pennsylvania, to Wright’s own home in Illinois. We are excited to see his take on this home located on the Big Island.

4. Putting the “fun” in “dysfunctional.”
Take a look at these common household objects you already own, but with an added twist. Katerina Kamprani, an architect from Athens, creatively constructs “deliberately inconvenient” household objects for our viewing pleasure (or displeasure, rather).

5. Your prayers have been answered.
Finally, select Ikea items are available to ship to Hawaii (cue the chorus of angels singing). Unfortunately, products weighing more than 70 pounds will not ship (resounding sigh). HONOLULU Magazine’s Managing Fashion Editor Brie Thalman shares the scoop on shipping Swedish style direct to our homes.

6. New beginnings for retailers.
When one door closes, another opens. This summer’s closure of Ward Warehouse — the site of Gateway Towers being developed by The Howard Hughes Corp. — displaced dozens of retailers, many of which have already settled into their new spaces. Na Mea is open at its new location in Ward Centre, near Bed, Bath & Beyond. With emphasis on all things Hawaii-made, Na Mea will surely make a splash in the evolving Ward Village area.

Speaking of relocation, Pictures Plus also recently reopened in a new location in Kakaako, after moving from Ward Warehouse. Find it (and a stylish, top-of-the-line locally made custom frame for a treasured photograph) across the street from SALT, at 670 Auahi St.
