Buzz, Saw
The latest happenings for week of Aug. 18.

Buzz, Saw is a weekly blog on cool stuff we’re seeing and buzzing about.
Ready, set, shop.
Support locally-made goods at the 23rd annual Made in Hawaii Festival. Remember to wear comfy shoes as you’ll have nearly 400 exhibitors to peruse at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall and Arena this weekend starting Statehood Day, Friday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 20. From art to books, crafts, clothing, home goods and more – that’s a lot of walking. But don’t sweat, food vendors will be around to provide fuel for your marathon shopping spree.
More shopping.
Aloha Home Market returns for its monthly pop-up in Kailua. We can’t wait to see which vendors will be selling local home goods this time around.

It’s a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, and includes amenities such as outdoor deck with grills, bike room with parking and maintenance station, and well-designed living spaces. It’s also pet-friendly. Pass the word to someone you know.

Hawaii Home + Remodeling has partnered with Servco Home and Appliance Distribution to give away an indoor/outdoor electric grill valued at $799. It’s perfect for those condo dwellers who still want to be able to grill without using charcoal or propane. Hawaii Home and Remodeling’s Scott Schumaker tried it out in his latest Fired Up Friday blog.
