What began as a small business for husband-and-wife team Alan and Jennifer Shintani in 1976 has evolved into a full-service design-build construction company that was recently named Builder of the Year by the Hawaii Carpenters Union.

In 2017, 2018 and 2019, Alan Shintani Inc. was awarded Safety Awards by the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders), the AGC (Associated General Contractors) and GCA (General Contractors Association) of Hawaii. The company is proud of both the national honors and local award.
