“On a combined basis, our PHAD team has spent more than 225 years working in construction and appliance-related businesses,” notes Cameron. “We start by understanding our customers’ needs, budget and lifestyle to guide our recommendations. Our goal is to provide appliances that deliver consistent performance and aesthetic appeal, whether it’s for a single kitchen renovation or a high-rise development project.”

Founded in August 2020, PHAD originated from the team that led Servco Home and Appliance Distribution for more than 20 years. When Servco decided to spin off its last non-automotive business in Hawaii, Craig Washofsky sought a solution to preserve its legacy of providing appliances to the Islands.

Washofsky collaborated with a respected California-based family with three generations of experience in the appliance industry to acquire the business. The transition was completed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and PHAD worked tirelessly to maintain the availability of its brands in Hawaii despite global manufacturing challenges at the time.

“This hard work allowed PHAD to create a more-or-less seamless transition from Servco to the new company,” explains Cameron. “We essentially have the same team [from Servco] with a few new additions.”

The PHAD showroom is designed to provide an interactive experience. Customers can explore thoughtfully arranged vignettes, helping them envision how the appliances will fit into their homes.

After more than four years in business, Cameron says, “it’s time to reintroduce ourselves to the community. We proudly position ourselves as a trusted appliance resource.”

Today, PHAD serves numerous local homeowners and builders. The company has been an appliance supplier for Gentry Homes, Castle & Cooke Homes, Stanford Carr Development and other notable developers for more than 25 years. PHAD also counts leading Island resorts, including Marriott and Hilton Vacation Clubs, among its clients.
