Home is where the heart is, and our hearts are with our ohana on Maui. As of this writing, residents on the Valley Isle continue to recover from the wildfires that devastated Lahaina in August. We appreciate and support these local home goods businesses with Maui ties, and other fundraisers from across the state.

Lahaina Arts Society
The Lahaina Arts Society gallery was one of the many historic and iconic structures that bordered the harbor on Front Street. Located in the former Lahaina courthouse, the gallery was destroyed along with most of its precious artwork. The 56-year old collective has updated its website, showcasing the remaining pieces, which are available for purchase. Support these talented artists as they rebuild the creative community on Maui. shopmauiart.com

Lora Gallagher of HNLdesigns has made her mark on the fashion and home industries with her refined Hawaii-inspired prints on fabrics, wallpaper and Island wear. Moved by a sense of responsibility to kokua those affected by the Maui fires, Gallagher turned her memories of Lahaina into beautiful motifs. “I was stricken with a deep sadness and horrified at what survivors were facing,” she shares. Gallagher created her “Lahaina Maui Strong” print, which depicts the beauty of Lahaina Harbor on wallpaper and a selection of fabrics. “Every dollar that I make from my Lahaina Maui Strong designs will go to the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund, the Maui Food Bank, and later to a reputable rebuilding of Lahaina that involves the Hawaiian community and residents of Lahaina,” says Gallagher. spoonflower.com/collections/748395-lahaina-maui-strong-by-hnldesigns
